You’ll have to contact the owner of the property to see if they offer a military or veteran discount. There are many who do not offer any type of military discount and most won’t offer a discount once the property is already booked. You’ll have to contact the property you booked or you can always contact VRBO through their website for more information on how their discounts work.

There are some websites like ID.me where you can use their verification service. There are a few other verification services that can be used but it will depend on what your budget is. As a vacation rental owner, I would try to use a simple method such as the verification services such as GovX, ID.me, SheerID, etc, or do as many stores do and require a DD214 or other verification at check-in or purchase.
