These numbers above may not be exact or up to date so always double-check before signing an agreement with Verizon or Verizon Wireless. 1. People in my office get a Verizon discount, as did I for awhile and then I realized that I didn’t have the discount anymore but everyone in my office does. How is that fair and how do I get the discount as well? I only had to bring in a copy of my paycheck before.

    1. I’m pretty sure Verizon recently changed the way they do employee discounts. If you go through this link you should be able to find all of the information you need. As long as your employer still has an employee discount available you should be able to receive that discount for both Verizon cable/internet and Verizon Wireless. You may have to provide proof of employment but it shouldn’t be too big of a hassle. It may be easier to give them a call to apply the discount quickly before next billing cycle.

        1. More than likely, the State of California has a contract through another carrier. Verizon offers discounts to organizations who have contacts though them

  2. I am a retiree of Verizon collecting a pension. My pension check is direct deposit to a checking account. I do not receive a monthly pension statement. How do I give you proof of my retirement check?

    1. This is something you will want to contact Verizon directly about. You can find their customer service email address and phone number on their website through the links above.

  3. I work at Bently University and I am supposed to receive a discount but I did not see it listed. CAN YOU tell me how to go about to receiving it? Thanks for your help!

    1. IF you go to the Verizon website through any of the links above and then search for employee discounts you can find the exact page which for some reason it won’t let us link directly to. Once on this page you will have to put in your work email to check for discounts.

  4. I work for a small company, but I think everyone here has Verizon service for our personal phones. Are we able to apply for a discount as a group under our company name? Thank you

  5. I work for Fresenius Medical Care formerly known as BMA of PA which is still on our paystubs. On out FMC website it says we get 19% discount with Verizon. When I renewed my discount with my paystub and proof of employment October last year my discount became 8%. I was told this is the FMC discount. I checked with the company and printed our company discount flyer and it is 19%. My coworkers state they are getting 19%. Why am I not.

    1. michael, i work at the dollar general DC in Zanesville Ohio, we do get a verizon discount (look under benefits on DGME) im calling Verizon today at 8am to find out how much. Will update when i get info!

    1. This page only has employee discounts so you won’t find membership discounts on this page. As of last time we checked AARP doesn’t offer any type of monthly discount for your wireless plan like these employers. The only deals they have are for discounts when you purchase the phone or plan. We have these same deals and more within our Verizon WIreless promo codes section. If you’re looking for a phone you can always check out our page.

      1. This page literally lists the discount for veterans. Why skip the article and go straight to the comments asking someone else to do the work for you? Just go to the store with your DD214 OR Millay ID

  6. New Mexico Military Institute would like to see if it is possible to offer a Verizon Discoount to NMMI employees. NMMI is a High School/Junior College Boarding School with approximately 300 employees. If you could please contact me via email at carmen@nmmi.edu or 575-624-8080.
    Thank you for your consideration!

    1. Carmen, we can’t help you get the discounts for the school through this website. You will have to contact Verizon directly through their corporate website. They should be able to help you there to be able to set up some sort of employee discount program for those using Verizon Wireless.

    1. Most of the deals on this page are for wireless. There are a few a few employee discounts for Verizon FIOS but last time we checked it was only three different companies. Almost all of the employee discounts are for wireless services as well as accessories.

    1. GE gives 21% off voice and data wireless plans for existing employees. I’m not sure if they have discounts available for retirees but many large companies do. The best way to check is to go through any of the links above which will take you to the Verizon WIreless website. Once you’re on the website you can search for your company within the search box at the top. If that doesn’t work then the GE corporate website’s employee discount area should have more information.

    1. I checked Verizon Wireless for any US Bank discounts and can’t seem to find any advertised. This doesn’t neccesarily meant that there isn’t a discount. You can check on the Verizon website and type in employee discount in the search. You will have to put in your work email and verify to see if there is a discount.

  7. I’m a retired government employee and also a retired military. Since I have retired from TSA do I still qualify for a discount as I once receive?

  8. I just lost my employee discount because I have retired. I have a pension through my company that does not qualify. I receive social security and medicare. My husband has and State Teachers’ Retirement Fund pension. Why is it when we are older and need the discount the most, none is available to us? There are other carriers that offer discounts to pension holders.

    1. Verizon seems to be cutting back on the discounts they have for employees of companies. Not sure if it’s the companies cutting back or Verizon changing the rules on how the discounts are applied. T-Mobile has done away with almost all of these types of discounts but Sprint and AT&T still seem to have the most discounts overall so you may want to check there. Also, you may be eligible for certain discounts through other memberships like AARP, AAA, and so on so you may want to check on that.

  9. I was told at work that I can get a discount in this program but I can not find it. I looked under BBB, Bed bath and beyond, Christmas Tree shops, CTS. nothing comes up. Can you help me out. I need all the discounts I can find. Thank you.

    1. If there are any discounts available you should be able to find them here or through the link towards the top of the page where we’ve linked to the search function on the Verizon website. A lot of major brands are changing their discounts recently or doing away with them.

    1. General Motors does get a discount. My son works at a local Cadillac dealership, and our family gets the 21% GM discount.

  10. We’ve updated this page with an easy link at the top. The link will take you to the Verizon Wireless page where you can put in your information for a discount. You should also be able to do a quick search. We have more information here about the specific discount you’ll receive, but you’ll be able to quickly search and get started in claiming your discount on their page.

    1. Hi Darleen,

We have taken this list from the Verizon Wireless website as well as other sources. In order to offer your employees or members a discount on their plans you will need to contact Verizon corporate. If your organization already offers a discount through Verizon and you want us to add it then just let us know. Thanks.

  11. Really all these company’s who never had an employee that was responsible for building the network never ever ran a wire get these savings?Me I had it as a retiree up until Christmas eve yea I got coal in my stocking.Great website thanks for info.Home Depot? Oh yea they were out their running fiber with me.Who is Darden restaurants?

    1. Darden owns chains like Olive Garden. Usually employes of companies with corporate accounts get discounts. If your company doesn’t have an account with Verizon that’d be why. Just because you did work for Verizon makes you think you deserve a discount? Did you not get a paycheck for your work? Entitlement these days…

  12. I am a contractor working for FedEx ground. So I’m not technically and employee of fedex. Could I still receive the discount?

  13. I sell phones for verizon indirectly at zwireless, I was wondering if I get a discount for my husband and I. I am with Sprint and want to switch.

  14. Hi, I work for Illinois State University as a student employee. I was wondering if that means I am a State of Illinois Employee as the cell phone plan I have with my mother and brother constitutes as that and gives us an 18% discount.

  15. I see Verizon gives employee discounts to State workers of PA. Do they give discounts to Local Government workers? If not, why not? If so, how do I get that?
    thank you,
    Trish

    1. Verizon Wireless changes their discounts regularly, so ours may not always be 100% up to date. You can check on their website to see if your local government has a discount through Verizon as many do and we just haven’t posted it here. If the discount says state employees only then local government workers aren’t usually eligible. You can check this page on their website to see if your employer has a discount.

    2. Those states do business with Verizon. Does your local government? If not, contact their government sales team, sign a contract, and employees will likely get a discount

    1. Yes, Verizon as of last time we checked does have discounts available to select federal employees. These discounts are not given across the board, instead, they are given by organization and departments of the federal government independently. You’ll have to access the government discounts page of the Verizon website to check for the discount.

    1. These rates can change at any time and as we get notification we change the percentage discount and other information. Verizon and other carriers have made multiple changes within the past few months and once we are notified of these changes we will update this page with the latest discount rates.

    1. In our search, we couldn’t find any deals for Express. You will have to look through the information on the Verizon Wireless website, go to your local Verizon, or call the official Verizon phone number to get the information. They may still have some sort of discount, but just not available to the public.

  16. Hi,
I spent 30 at UPS is there a way that you know that I would be able to keep my 22% discount? I’m
retired and now paid through the WESTERN CONFERENCE OF TEAMSTERS PENSION TRUST.
The folks that handle my medical are the same people that handled my medical when I was with UPS.

    Thanks,
    Warner Camp

    1. We know of people who have simply never updated their information and have been able to keep the discount. This is if they already have the discount when they retire. If you don’t already have the discount then it will probably be tough to get it as you must verify employment.

    1. For a specific school district, you will have to call Verizon or visit the links provided in the article above to be taken to the discount page. Most of the discounts we’ve seen for teachers are statewide with a few being for specific counties. The easiest way would be to just give them a call or check out our other discount pages for Sprint, AT&T, and T-Mobile to see if they have a discount. We know that T-Mobile and AT&T both have teacher discount programs for all teachers as long as you can provide proof that you are working in education. These discounts aren’t large, but they can still help knock down your total monthly bill.

  17. I find it amazing that Verizon only gives their OWN employees a 22% discount, but gives Home Depot employees 25% and Wells Fargo employees 26%–great way to build employee morale…how bogus is that?

  18. With the new Verizon unlimited data plan introduced in Feb 2017-All Employer discounts are discontinued. I was just on their website and if I switch to that then I will be paying more than what I pay now, which I have 25% discount!

  19. Hi I work for Lowes and I know at one time that we got a discount… Does that still apply?? I have internet service thru Verizon. Thanks

  20. I retired from the Northwest Georgia Regional Educational Service Agency (RESA) in Rome, GA. I am under the Teacher Retirement System of Georgia. Am I eligible for a discount?

  21. I think it’s a shame that Verizon (and probably the other cellphone companies as well) do not offer a separate Military Discount. The Military and Veteran’s are classified as “government employees” and receive their 15% discount. A person that puts their life on the line for our country receives one of the LOWEST DISCOUNTS, while a person in retail is offered a 25% discount!! Verizon should not advertise to the world that they offer a Military/Veteran discount. Maybe they should advertise that they offer their lowest discount to those that fight for our freedom.

I would think that the Veteran population would provide a huge customer base for a company. They should be afforded a PROPER discount. I’m sure that other’s, like myself, assumed that our men and women in uniform WERE being offered a generous discount. The public needs to hear this. Verizon (and probably the other’s) should be embarrassed!!

    1. The discounts can be slightly confusing so I would check with Verizon to see what military discounts are available. They don’t advertise a lot of the specific discounts and we have to rely on individuals telling us what discount they receive, so the discounts above are not going to be 100% accurate. I know AT&T does offer a decent military discount for active duty, reserves, and veterans. I think a few of the other smaller wireless carriers may as well.

    1. So far we have not seen any discounts for Norvartis employees, but that doesn’t mean there’s not a discount available. If you don’t see the discount here then calling Verizon’s customer service and new service line is probably your best bet.

  22. Hi, I am currently with ATT with a UPS discount and about to change to Verizon, but I am now disabled and retired on a disability pension (under 55 years of age). My pension/pay stub is from UPS. Would I qualify for a discount? Thank you
