As part of their roll back sale on cell phones, Walmart has cut the price on the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C to some of the lowest prices they’ve ever featured. Walmart has knocked the price of the iPhone 5S down to $79 (was $99) on-contract and the iPhone 5C on-contract to 97 cents (was $29). These deals are valid for any new 2-year contract or eligible upgrade for Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, and US Cellular customers. These prices beat those online for Verizon, AT&T, and US Cellular with only Sprint having better prices on the phone with their new $100 off promotion. This means that for those customers outside of Spring this will be the best deal you can get on the iPhone, especially for AT&T customers who are currently paying $199 for the 5S.
The sale on the iPhone is in preparation for the new iPhone 6 that should be announced on September 9th and be available sometime in late September as supplies allow. This means that if you can wait just a few months you will probably see even better deals available for both the 5S and 5C. T-Mobile is the only major wireless carrier that seems to be left off of this sale from Walmart but they do have other phones on sale available for T-Mobile customers.
Like other deals on phones, Walmart is making this available in-store only. So if you were wanting to claim this deal online then you’re out of luck. It should be available at the hundreds of Walmart stores throughout the United States with very few exclusions. Aside from the deals on the iPhone they also unveiled deals for the Samsung Galaxy S5 and LG G3 along with dozens of deals on unlocked phones which can be purchased on their website. This deal is only available for a limited time and will be expiring sometime right before the holiday shopping season or until supplies change.
